THE STORY
After years of working their way through some of San Diego’s top restaurants, residential kitchens, and large-scale catering operations, longtime friends and culinary school grads Ethan Ritenour and Jarrett Wright teamed up to bring something of their own to the table — CARAVAN
Built on a love for quality food, good people, and bold flavor, CARAVAN is their vision brought to life: serving up New York-style pizza with serious craft and care. Now they’re fired up and ready to go — with the Grand Opening set for May 3, 2025, inside Black & Grey Atelier in East Village, Downtown San Diego.

CARAVAN was created with a simple goal: to bring top-tier New York-style pizza, premium small-batch ice cream, sorbet, and more to the San Diego food scene. We aim to be a competitive force — serving up local favorites while delivering the most consistent, well-executed products to our customers. CARAVAN is an inclusive brand that celebrates and supports the arts, music, fashion, and culture through our platform. Our mission is to become a recognized and beloved name in San Diego — and far beyond.
