THE STORY
After years of working their way through some of San Diego’s top restaurants, residential kitchens, and large-scale catering operations, longtime friends and culinary school grads Ethan Ritenour and Jarrett Wright teamed up to bring something of their own to the table — CARAVAN
Built on a love for quality food, good people, and bold flavor, CARAVAN is their vision brought to life: serving up New York-style pizza and more with serious craft and care. CARAVAN began as a mobile pizzeria pop-up in August 2024 and has served thousands of customers since.
CARAVAN recently relocated to 734 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101 after a 3 month permanent pop up inside a local tattoo shop. CARAVAN is also now fully partnered with local music venue BRICK x BRICK. Their focus now lies on expanding mobile catering operations and staying active in the San Diego food scene - Catch CARAVAN September 14th at the Del Mar Food & Wine Festival!

CARAVAN was created with a simple goal: to bring top-tier New York-style pizza, premium small-batch ice cream, and more to the San Diego food scene. We aim to be a competitive force — serving up local favorites while delivering the most consistent, well-executed products to our customers. CARAVAN is an inclusive brand that celebrates and supports the arts, music, fashion, and culture through our platform. Our mission is to become a recognized and beloved name in San Diego — and far beyond.
